Copilot for Microsoft 365 training
Drafting, summarising, analysing, preparing a meeting: your staff learn to use Microsoft's AI assistant in the tools they already open every day.
Arrange a training sessionWhy train your teams on Copilot?
Copilot only gives good results when it gets good requests. Without a method, people try it once, get a vague answer and go back to their old habits. The training builds the reflexes that save time every day: what to ask, how to phrase it, and how to check what the assistant suggests.
Copilot sees what each user can already see. If sensitive folders are shared too widely, it can bring them up in its answers. Before rollout, we review access rights to your documents with you.
Training programme
The content is tailored to your licences and your line of work. Exercises are based on everyday tasks from your business.
Copilot Chat
Asking the assistant questions, summarising a document, preparing a meeting and, with a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence, finding information in your emails, files and meetings.
Word
Drafting a first version from your notes, rephrasing a passage, summarising a long document or adjusting its tone.
Excel
Analysing a table, getting help with a formula, highlighting trends and creating a chart in plain language.
PowerPoint
Creating a presentation from a Word document, adding a slide, summarising a presentation you have received.
Outlook
Summarising a long thread, preparing a reply, adjusting the tone of a message before sending it.
Teams
Getting a meeting recap, the list of decisions and tasks, or catching up on what was said while you were away.
Writing good requests
Giving context, the goal and the expected format, then refining the answer in a few exchanges rather than starting over.
Using AI with confidence
Knowing what Copilot can access, what not to share with it, and why every answer should be reviewed before it is used.

Frequently asked questions about Copilot training
Do we need a Copilot licence to take the training?
Not necessarily. Copilot Chat is included with Microsoft 365 business subscriptions and is enough to get started with the assistant. The Microsoft 365 Copilot licence adds access to your emails, files, meetings and chats, and fuller features in each application. Microsoft's offers change often, so we review your licences with you before the training.
Can Copilot access all of the company's data?
No. Copilot only shows content the user is already allowed to view. According to Microsoft, your requests, its answers and the data it accesses are not used to train the AI models behind Copilot. The real risk is overly broad sharing: a folder open to everyone becomes easy to find. That is why we review access rights before rollout.
Are technical skills required?
No. The training is for anyone who uses Microsoft 365 every day. It starts from their usual tasks, not from the technology.
Can Copilot make mistakes?
Yes. Its answers are often accurate and well written, which makes errors all the harder to spot. The training teaches staff to check figures, sources and names, and to keep the final decision, especially for legal, medical or financial content.
Is the training adapted to our business?
Yes. Examples and exercises are based on real tasks from your line of work: letters, quotes, minutes, tracking spreadsheets. A law firm, a medical practice and an industrial SME do not use Copilot in the same way.
